CAMP COMMON GROUND for families

An intergenerational
family camp in our 13th year, we welcome people of all ages,
ethnicities, lifestyles and abilities. Extended families
(grandparents, relatives, friends) are welcome too. Kids under 18 must
be accompanied by and adult. We emphasize in equal part, creative
expression, community and fun including yoga, tai-chi, massage,
pottery, painting, pastels, puppet-making, African and Latin dance,
conga drumming, hiking, baseball, swimming, soccer, singing,

all-inclusive residential coed camp. We accept drummers of all ages
with most between 12-16. This year we are featuring Joe Fishman from
the band Phish and Russ Lawton from the Trey Anastasio Band. Session

Nature Museum's camps are loaded with outdoor adventure and hands-on
learning. These day and week long camps utilize mountain biking and
environmental adventure as the key ingredients for kids ages 5-16.
Kids will experience the richness of Vermont's backyard through
biking, exploring, kayaking, rock climbing, and learning the value of
teamwork. Each camp features daily mountain bike rides/clinics,
exploring ponds and streams, investigating local wildlife, searching out historic landmarks, and a

ADVENTURES OF VERMONT TEEN SUMMER CAMPS

Day, Resident and
Family Camps Available for ages 12-18. We offer eight, 7 day
wilderness adventure camps for teens, with the option of combining two
of the weeks. Each trip is comprised of a maximum of 16 kids and 3
leaders. We camp every night at our base camp or wilderness camp
sites. We spend each week doing a variety of activities such as
hiking, flat water kayaking, caving, rock climbing, whitewater rafting
and much more. You do not need experience, but rather enthusiasm and
willingness to try new things and meet new people and an interest in
learning to live and play in a small group setting.
