CAMP COMMON GROUND for families

An intergenerational family camp since 1994, we welcome people of all ages, ethnicities, lifestyles and abilities. Extended families (grandparents, relatives, friends) are welcome too. Kids under 18 must be accompanied by and adult. We emphasize in equal part, creative expression, community and fun including yoga, tai-chi, massage, pottery, painting, pastels, puppet-making, African and Latin dance, conga drumming, hiking, baseball, swimming, soccer, singing, silk painting, group games and more. EXTREME ADVENTURES OF VERMONT TEEN SUMMER CAMPS

Day, Resident and Family Camps Available for ages 12-18. We offer eight, 7 day wilderness adventure camps for teens, with the option of combining two of the weeks. Each trip is comprised of a maximum of 16 kids and 3 leaders. We camp every night at our base camp or wilderness camp sites. We spend each week doing a variety of activities such as hiking, flat water kayaking, caving, rock climbing, whitewater rafting and much more. You do not need experience, but rather enthusiasm and willingness to try new things and meet new people and an interest in learning to live and play in a small group setting.
