In addition to our traditional residential and day programs, Hulbert now offers on-site and school based service-learning and leadership programs for elementary, middle and high school students. These intensive, curriculum-based programs extend the traditional Hulbert focus on effective group work and personal development into on-going action for students.

Our professional development workshops and consulting services help teachers bring our philosophy and approach to their work with colleagues and students. Whatever program options you choose, we will strive to design an experience that is meaningful and memorable.

Homeschool: Since 1990, Hulbert Outdoor Center has offered week-long residential programs for homeschooled children ages 9-17. Currently we offer two, one-week residential programs for throughout the year in March, and May. We believe that a week at Hulbert can be an excellent place for your child to meet other homeschoolers from all over the northeast and the country, to make friends, to try new experiences and activities, and to be part of a new, healthy, supportive community. Participants and their families most frequently find the Hulbert program something that they continue to integrate into their yearly homeschooling calendar.

Family Camps: Our Vermont Family Camps allow you to unplug from busy life, relax by the lake or the fire, adventure in the forests and mountains, and enjoy time with family and friends on our beautiful campuses. Our Winter and Summer Family Camps afford families an opportunity share the magic of Hulbert programming. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and each year new families, looking for a unique and memorable family vacation join us to reconnect and unwind.

School Vacation Camps: Kids in Kindergarten through 6th Grade can pack their winter and spring breaks full of games, exploring, crafts, fresh air, new friends, good food and more! Hulbert offers vacation camps during February and April school vacations. Come for one or two days or for the whole week! A variety of indoor and outdoor activities, delicious meals and snacks, and experienced and caring staff all without breaking the bank.

Skills Certification: Wilderness First Aid & CPR, ACA Canoe Instructor, Wilderness First Responder Re-Cert, EMT Wild Day.

Weddings, Conferences & Events: The Hulbert Outdoor Center is pleased to offer two ideal locations to serve as the perfect choice for your conference, reunion, retreat or private event. Our Lanakila/Hulbert site includes a Main House with large dining hall, and seven meeting spaces that each hold anywhere between 10 to 150 guests. Presentation equipment, including easels, projectors and screens are available on-site for use. Our Aloha Hive site, situated on Lake Fairlee, boasts a main meeting space and dining room located next to the lake, providing a beautiful setting for any day program. We can simply host your program and let you design the program, or help you design and facilitate workshops and events that will meet your particular goals. Rentals may be for one or two days or for as long as a week!.
