WelcomeIn the 1800’s, Vermont camps provided ideal locations for youngsters in the Northeast who desired to escape the congestion and summer heat of the urban areas along the east coast. Today, Vermont camps attract campers next door and from around the world. Come join us this summer. Not only is Vermont especially beautiful with boundless outdoor offerings, all of our member camps are licensed and regulated by the Vermont Department of Health. Vermont Camp Association (VCA) has expanded to represent 55 of the finest camps in Vermont. While some are privately owned and others are not-for-profit, each camp is unique and offers sessions ranging from one to eight weeks with a wide range of fees that are suitable for every budget; and all provide quality experiences which will help your child develop emotionally, physically, spiritually, and socially. Although the VCA is not in a position to help individual famlies select a camp for their children, we hope that by reading about the camps represented on this site you will be able to find a camp that best fits your family’s needs. So click on some camps that interest you and join us this summer!
Some VCA Camps have year-round programs and rent their facilities. Consider our camps for an inexpensive idilic wedding, that special family reunion or to experience the winter wonderland that is Vermont. |
