Head Cook for a small residential camp where food creativity and freshness are required
. Daily meals for 50 with vegetarian and food allergy options. Returning breakfast and lunch cooks help to make the job easier. Head Cook responsible for cooking dinners, menu planning, food purchasing, food cost, kitchen cleanliness and overall kitchen management. June 1 - August 30

Role Models Wanted
YMCA Camp Abnaki, Vermont's only YMCA boys resident camp, seeks cabin counselors and role models for the 2012 season. Counselors live in a cabin with 1 other counselor and 6-10 boys ages 6-15.
Summer contracts start at the end of June and go through the third week in August. Base pay is $2100 for 9 weeks, including 1 week of staff training.
Candidates must be at least one year removed from high school graduation, college preferred. All candidates are subject to local and national background checks, including sex offender registries.

This person should be able to relate well with other people, live in close community with other staff, be silly, exhibit great leadership, creatively interact with youth, and be responsive to the direction of leadership. This person should be able to articulate a faith founded on Jesus Christ both in words and actions. It is important that a counselor has an understanding of Christian religion and how it can be relevant today.
